During Akbar’s rule, two important states were occupied by Hemu and he ascended the throne. The names of the states were?

Adil Shah Suri was the seventh and final ruler of the Sur dynasty. Hemu was Hindu general of Adil Shah Suri. ln 1555,  Akbar’s absence from Delhi on a campaign, Adil Shah and Hemu attacked Agra and captured it. Hemu intended to attack Delhi. Tardi Beg Khan, who was Humayun’s successor, Akbar’s governor in Delhi tried to defend Delhi. In 1556, Hemu defeated Tardi Khan in the Battle of Tughlaqabad and appointed himself ruler of Delhi  rather than  Adil Shah.
