The Taj Mahal is located on the southern bank of the river Yamuna in the Indian city of Agra in Uttar Pradesh province. It was made by Mughal king Shah Jahan for his favourite wife Mumtaz Mahal(Arjumand Banu). Its design was prepared by Ustad Ahmad Lahori. This Mahal’s construction was started in 1632 and completed in 1648 but opened for Public in 1653.
